The Miss Thailand Universe is a beauty pageant that has been held every year since 2000, with winners competing in the Miss Universe, Miss Earth, Miss Intercontinental, Miss Asia Pacific International, and Miss Tourism International pageants. In fact, Miss Thailand Universe is not related to the previous Miss Thailand or Miss Thailand World.
The reigning Miss Thailand Universe is Chutima Durongdej, who was crowned on March 28, 2009 in Bangkok by Gavintra Photijak, Miss Thailand Universe 2008.
This year, the 11th Miss Thailand Universe pageant will be held on March 20, 2010. The contestants arrived in Kamphaeng Phet and the finals was held at Sofitel Centara Grand Bangkok in Bangkok. All 44 delegates are expected to compete. The winner will be the representative for Miss Thailand at the Miss Universe 2010 pageant.
